California Paints Teams Up to Produce Color
Trends for Spring Summer 2011

Andover, MA (March 3, 2010) - California Paints^®, a quality manufacturer of paints, zero VOC coatings, and exterior stains, is proud to be a part of the Spring Summer 2011 color trends generated by Global Color Research^TM. Presented by Mix Trends, the color selection consists of twenty forecast colors that create unique color stories. All colors have been selected from California Paints’ Perfect Palette^® collection. Global Color Research, the London-based color consultancy studio, is a key provider of dependable color trend information, which is available to all design markets. Mix Trends, a bi-annual color publication produced by Global Color Research, used the colors of California Paints to develop color stories titled Whisper, Spirit, Genteel, and Risk. All stories reflect optimism and growth for the 2011 year and help embrace the future.

California Paints to Host Mandatory EPA Certified Renovator Courses

Andover, MA (January 6, 2010) - California Paints, a quality manufacturer of paints, zero VOC coatings, and exterior stains, will be hosting courses to train and certify contractors in accordance with the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Renovation, Repair and Painting Final Rule (40 CRF 745). This rule states that firms and renovators must now be certified by the EPA when disturbing pre 1978 homes or child-occupied facilities based on the possibility of lead exposure. Violation of this EPA regulation may result in fines up to $32,500 and/or possible imprisonment.

California Paints Contributes to Boston Children’s Museum’s Born Learning Trail

Andover, Ma (August 20, 2009)- California Paints, a quality manufacturer of paints, zero VOC coatings, and exterior stains, is proud to be a part of the United Way’s Born Learning Trail located at the Boston Children’s Museum. California Paints donated all paints to the Boston Children’s Museum, which were used to decorate each separate activity that makes up this educational trail. “The Born Learning Trail is an engaging path of interactive activities promoting the fact that children are born learning,” Kacy Hughes, Boston Children’s Museum’s Senior Project Manager explained. “It highlights the role that parents and caregivers can play in a child’s development.”

California Products Announces New Executive Appointments

ANDOVER, Mass. – June 6, 2008 – California Products today announced that Peter Longo and Steven McMenamin will join the Company as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, respectively, effective June 1. Longo will be replacing longtime President and CEO Joe Junkin, who will now act in an advisory capacity, and McMenamin succeeds Joseph DeAngelis, who has retired. Both Joe Junkin and Joe DeAngelis will remain on the Board of Directors and continue to advise on the strategic direction of the company.
